Our Essential Home Energy Audit includes a detailed visual inspection of every part of your home, including doors, windows, walls, attic space, insulation, air conditioning equipment, appliances, and lighting. Upon completion, the energy consultant will provide recommendations for improvements that will make your home more energy efficient. The Essential Energy Audit is a great starting place to identify issues affecting your home’s energy efficiency.

Complete Energy Audit - Price: $499.00

The Complete Energy Audit builds on the Essential Energy Audit by incorporating a duct blaster test (to diagnose duct leakage), a blower-door test (to identify leaks in your home’s envelope), and thermographic infrared scanning (to evaluate the flow of heat through your home and pinpoint problem spots due to leaks and missing insulation). The Complete Energy Audit pinpoints more specific issues and provides more detailed findings than the Essential Energy Audit.

Comprehensive Energy Audit - Price: $849.00

The Comprehensive Energy Audit includes all of the inspections and evaluations included in the Essential and Complete Energy Audits plus advanced energy modeling using specialized REM/Rate™ software. REM/Rate™’s HERS (Home Energy Rating System) score, which is used in the government’s Energy Star™ program, is used to benchmark your home’s energy efficiency and provide a cost-benefit analysis of each energy-saving recommendation. This helps you make more knowledgeable decisions on which recommendations will have the greatest payback.

Efficiency problems will be recorded and analyzed, and a list of energy-saving recommendations will be provided. Recommendations can include everything from easy, low-cost solutions (such as sealing air leaks around windows and doors), to more substantial solutions (such as replacing air conditioning units or adding insulation).

You can implement some, all, or none of the recommendations. It’s completely up to you.
